Behind the Blog

Trudy graduated Cum Laude from De La Salle University – Manila, where she took up Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Industrial/Organizational Psychology track). She also graduated with Honors from De La Salle – College of St. Benilde, where she finished a Post-baccalaureate degree in Organization Development.

Trudy grew up playing a lot of tennis. She played competitive tennis nationally and internationally for about seven years. From 2008 to 2012, she joined intercollegiate competitions, and then transitioned to part-time tennis coaching.

In 2013, she received Jesus as her Lord and Savior. In 2014, out of her personal love relationship with Him, she began sharing the gospel to friends, family and strangers, and facilitating groups of high school students, college student-athletes and young working professionals on a regular basis with the intention of leading each one of them to Jesus.

Currently, Trudy is on her 6th semester of graduate school, taking up Masters in Communication from the University of the Philippines. She works as an Organization Development practitioner for an ICT company. She also recently started working as a part-time professor at De La Salle University, teaching Integrated Personal Effectiveness to graduating students.

You’ll often see her in coffee shops mentoring, counselling or generally spending time and having fruitful conversations with a dear friend or loved one.

Trudy’s greatest pursuit and privilege is to know Jesus more, be pruned to His likeness and make Him known. Launched on September 2018, is a personal blog about the trenches and joys of being a disciple of Jesus and making disciples for Jesus.

Trudy intends to magnify the unfathomable love and living truths of God in this blog. She hopes that anyone who comes across this site will be encouraged in/with/to Christ.
